– Claude Seyrat, CEO, Expway, Inc.
As the world leader in mobile broadcast and multicast solutions, Expway allows LTE/4G operators to broadcast video using low wireless bandwidth.
In 2013, Expway quickly gained traction in the US, and signed several partnerships with U.S. operators, device makers and core network vendors. Claude Seyrat, Expway’s CMO at the time, was convinced that the company needed to be physically in the US to accelerate the adoption of LTE Broadcast. Expway needed a trusted partner to help support a variety of urgent administrative needs, and quickly establish an office in the heart of Silicon Valley.
French Tech Hub created Expway’s U.S. subsidiary, Expway Inc., in 2014, and Claude Seyrat became CEO of Expway Inc. French Tech Hub helped Expway Inc. open an office in Sunnyvale, CA. Claude Seyrat and VP of Business Development, Ulla Saari, relocated from France to the US, and received their E2-visas in January 2015. French Tech Hub opened an Expway Inc business bank account and helped arrange payroll support. Expway continues to outsource its U.S. subsidiary’s backoffice administration including accounting, tax and HR to French Tech Hub.
French Tech Hub also provides Expway’s executives with high level mentoring from industry leaders including YouTube’s Head of Global Partnerships & Business Strategy, Nicolas Zylberstein, to refine their partnership strategy.
”French Hub Tech’s mentoring provided key insights and support during our move to Silicon Valley. It accelerated our learning curve on several aspects such as how to understand U.S. organizations, Silicon Valley business culture and plan appropriate sales activities.” Claude Seyrat
The company’s physical presence in the U.S. has been essential to support the massive solution deployment in the U.S.
Expway enables network operators and service providers such as Verizon Wireless, Huawei, NTT DoCoMo, Alcatel-Lucent, Intel, Reliance Jio Infocomm, and device makers such as Intel and Sony to monetize the mobile data multicast explosion opportunity.
