Health education start-up stands out for its first CES© using VR technology
Bordeaux (France) – January 17, 2017 – SimforHealth, a leader in medical health and medical education, wrapped up its first participation at CES, the world’s most important technology trade show, with a special acknowledgment from the Consumer Technology Association and CES TV.
Selected for its unique virtual solutions for medical education, SimforHealth, a member of La French Tech, stood out with an acclaimed example of the potential brought by virtual reality, one of the CES© 2017 core trends bringing a disruptive product experience.
Supported on HTC Vive™, SimforHealth showcased a virtual medical case of a patient encounter in pneumology. To develop their solution, SimforHealth partnered with the Center for medical simulation of the University Hospital in Nice (France) who is closely connected with Harvard Medical International.

Developed under the impetus of Professor Daniel Benchimol, former Dean of the Faculty of Medicine of Nice Sophia Antipolis, the Medical Simulation Center opened its doors in May 2008, under the responsibility of Professor Jean-Paul Fournier and Jacques Levraut.
